Cycad Melbourne is a division of Cycad international which is based in Katherine Northern
Territory, Australia. There are a large range of genus Cycadaceae available, ranging from young plants up to approximately 30 years old. The varieties we have available are tolerant of Melbourne conditions.
The plants are easily shipped to meet orders and most plants are already available and hardened to Melbourne's temperate weather.

Encephalartos sclavoi

Price $400 A medium sized Cycad with a subterranean or emergent, erect trunk. An extremely attractive species that grows vigorously in full sun or semi-shade. To 1 metre tall 35 cm 1.75 – 2 metres long – dark green to bluegreen Endemic to the western Usambara Mountains in north-eastern Tanzania, close to the border with Kenya Tropical to subtropical regions
